4.3.3 REGISTRATION
Image Area
 [1]: Feed direction, [2]: Image area
A = C = 2.25 mm, B = D = 3.25 mm
Make sure that the registration is adjusted within the adjustment standard range as shown below.
Leading Edge
Adjusts the leading edge registration for each paper type and process line speed.
Side to Side
Adjusts the side-to-side registration for each paper feed station. Use SP mode (SP1-002) to adjust
the side-to-side registration for the optional paper feed unit and duplex unit.
Adjustment Standard
 Leading edge (sub-scan direction): 3.25 ± 2.75 mm
 Trailing edge (sub-scan direction): 3.25 ± 2.75 mm
 Side to side (main-scan direction): 2.25 ± 1.75 mm
Paper Registration Standard
The registration in both main- and sub-scan directions can change within the following tolerance.
 Sub-scan direction: 0 ± 2 mm
 Main-scan direction: 0 ± 2 mm
