6. Remove the ARDF [A] from the copier as shown.
When installing the ARDF
1. Open the ARDF.
2. Place the platen sheet [A] on the exposure glass.
3. Line up the rear left corner of the platen sheet flush against corner [B] on the exposure glass.
4. Close the ARDF.
5. Reopen the ARDF.
6. Press the surface of the platen sheet gently to fix it on the ARDF firmly.
