6. Set the blade force.
For high-quality cung, perform a cung test to check the cung quality for the media and adjust the blade
force.
Procedure
1. Press [◀] to select "SET".

2. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
3. Press [◀] to select "SET".
CUT FORCE
[SET] NEXT
4. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
The test paern is cut.
You can select "NEXT" and press [ENTER] to skip the current menu and proceed to the next menu.
5. Peel o the two cut shapes (a circle and a square).
6. Check how the two shapes peel o.
• Two shapes are peeled o together/backing paper is also cut
Press [◀] to select "YES".
CONTINUE ADJ.?
[YES] DONE
• Two shapes are peeled o separately
Press [▶] to select "DONE".
CONTINUE ADJ.?
YES [DONE]
7. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
• If you select "YES", proceed to the next procedure.
• If you select "DONE", proceed to step 7.Correct the misalignment of the prinng and cung posions.(P. 103).
8. Press [▲] or [▼] to adjust the blade force.
• If the two shapes are peeled o together → increase the blade force.
• If the backing paper is also cut → reduce the blade force.
