4. Set the correcon values (separate test for prinng/cung with crop marks).
Procedure
1. Press [◀], then [▼][▶] to display the screen shown below.
2. View the results of the cung test to determine the correcon values.
Check whether the crop mark (shaded part) and the cung posion (outer frame) are aligned. An example
of the prinng posion and the cung posion being misaligned is shown in the following gure.
If the test printed crop marks are inside the cung line, correcon is not necessary.
If the test printed crop marks are extending beyond the cung line, correcon is necessary.
"F" indicates the feed direcon of the media (the feed direcon) and "S" indicates the direcon of print
head movement (the scan direcon). ("F," "S," "+," "−," and the arrows are not displayed on the actual test
paern.)

Determine the values so as to correct the misalignment of the cung posion. In the case of the above gure, feed direcon
"F" is misaligned in a negave direcon and scan direcon "S" in a posive direcon. Therefore, set the correcon values for
the feed direcon "F" to posive values and the scan direcon "S" to negave values. Measure the actual misalignment
amount when determining the value.
3. Set the correcon values for the feed direcon "F" and the scan direcon "S."
(1) Press [▲] or [▼] to set the correcon value for the feed direcon (F).
F:+0.30 +0.35mm
S:-0.40 -0.45mm
(2) Press [◀] or [▶] to set the correcon value for the scan direcon (S).
F:+0.30 +0.35mm
S:-0.40 -0.45mm
(3) When you have nished seng the correcon values, press [ENTER].
4. Perform steps 2.Print only the crop marks.(P. 180), 3.Perform a cung test (separate test for prinng/cung with crop marks).(P.
181) again to check whether the correcon was successful.
• If the test printed crop marks are inside the cung line, correcon is complete.
• If the test printed crop marks are extending beyond the cung line, redo the correcon.
5. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.
