• If a re-entry selection is invalid on the destination
ME, black is automatically selected.
• If a transition type is invalid on the destination ME,
a dissolve is automatically selected.
• If a specic option is not installed on the destination
ME, the function is automatically turned off.
• When copying from the Program/Preset ME to
another ME, the downstream keyer selections are
converted into effect keyer selections.
• If a specic keyer was active in the source ME, it
becomes active in the destination.
To Copy an ME
Tip: To quickly copy an ME from the panel, press and hold the
BKGD button on the Transition module for the ME you want to
copy to, and then press the BKGD button for the ME you want
to copy from.
1. Press HOME > Attributes > Copy ME.
2. In the Source area, select the ME X that you want
to copy from.
3. In the Destination area, select the ME X buttons that
you want to copy to.
4. Press Copy.
Bus Copy/Swap
You can copy or swap the entire contents of a video bus
to another video bus.
Keep the following in mind:

• You cannot copy or swap multiple source buses to
different destination buses.
• You cannot copy or swap multiple source Aux buses.
You can only select a single Aux bus at a time.
• You cannot swap a source bus with multiple
destination buses.
• You cannot copy or swap if the source and destination
buses are the same.
To Copy or Swap a Bus
1. Press HOME > Attributes > Copy Buses.
2. In the Source area, select the ME (MEX) or Aux
Bank (BankX) and the bus that you want to copy
or swap from.
• BKGD — background bus of the selected ME
• PST — preset bus of the selected ME
• UTILX — utility bus of the selected ME
• Key XV — key X video of the selected ME
• Key XA — key X alpha of the selected ME
• Aux X — aux bus X of the selected aux bus bank
3. In the Destination area, select the ME (MEX) or Aux
Bank (BankX) and the bus that you want to copy
or swap to.
• BKGD — background bus of the selected ME
• PST — preset bus of the selected ME
• UTILX — utility bus of the selected ME
• Key XV — key X video of the selected ME
• Key XA — key X alpha of the selected ME
• Aux X — aux bus X of the selected aux bus bank
4. Press Copy to perform the copy, or Swap to
perform the swap.
Relative Bus Copy
You can copy the contents of a video bus to another
without specifying a particular bus as the source or
destination. The source and destination are determined
by the relative on-air or on-preset status of the ME. For
example, if ME 1 is re-entered on the background bus
of the program ME and ME 2 is re-entered on the preset
bus of the program ME. A copy from On-Air to Preset
will be from ME 1 to ME 2.

To Relative Copy a Bus
1. Press HOME > Attributes > Relative Copy
Buses.
2. In the Source area, click Aux Bus to select an aux
or Rel ME to select an ME. When you select Rel
ME you have the option of which state to select.
• On-Air — select the ME that is re-entered onto
the background bus of the on-air ME.
• Preset — select the ME that is re-entered onto
the preset bus of the on-air ME
3. Select the bus that you want to copy from.
• BKGD — background bus of the selected ME
• PST — preset bus of the selected ME
• UTILX — utility bus of the selected ME
