4. Press Rotation and use the X-Rotation,
Y-Rotation, and Z-Rotation knobs to rotate the
effect in 3D space.
• X-Rotation — select the amount you want to
rotate the effect horizontally.
• Y-Rotation — select the amount you want to
rotate the effect vertically.
• Z-Rotation — select the amount you want to
rotate the effect clockwise or counterclockwise.
5. Press Border and use the Size knob to adjust the
size of the border around the effect.
6. Press Border Color and use the color picker to
select the color you want to use.
7. Press Movement and use the X-Rate, Y-Rate, and
Z-Rate knobs to adjust the rate of movement of the
effect when used as part of a sequence or wipe.
• X-Rate — adjust the amount of movement of
the effect horizontally.
• X-Rate — adjust the amount of movement of
the effect vertically.
• X-Rate — adjust the amount of movement of
the effect towards or away from you.
To Apply the Lens Flare 3D DVE Warp
The Lens Flare 3D DVE Warp creates a point light source
and a series of lens ares.
1. Navigate to the DVE menus for the DVE key you
want to apply a 3D DVE Warp to and press DVE
Menu > Warp.
Tip: At the top of the menu it states how many 3D DVE
Warp resources are available.
2. Press Lens Flare.
3. Press Position and use the Center (X), Center
(Y), and Size knobs to adjust the position and size
of the light source of the effect.
• Center (X) — adjust the horizontal position of
the center of the effect.
• Center (Y) — adjust the vertical position of the
center of the effect.
• Size — adjust the size of the effect.
4. Press Lighting and use the Fade and Brightness
knobs to adjust the lighting of the effect.
• Fade — select Color to apply a washout light
to the video.
• Brightness — adjust the brightness of the light
source, ares, and washout light.
5. Press Placement and use the Auto-Follow,
Angle, Distance knobs to adjust the placement of
the lens are effect from the light source.
• Auto-Follow — select whether the switcher
automatically adjusts the distance between the
lens are and the light source (On) or it is
adjusted manually (Off).
• Angle — adjust the angle of the lens are
compared to the center of the screen.
• Distance — adjust the distance between the
lens are and the light source. Auto-Follow
must be off.
6. Press Color and use the color picker to select the
color you want to use.
7. Press Flare Options and use the Aspect, Flare
Type, and Flares knobs to adjust the appearance
of the effect.
• Aspect — adjust the aspect ratio of the lens
are and light source.
• Flare Type — select one of the preset lens are
and light source effects.
• Flares — select the number of ares used in
the effect.
To Apply the Magnify 3D DVE Warp
The Magnify 3D DVE Warp creates an area within the
video that is magnied.
1. Navigate to the DVE menus for the DVE key you
want to apply a 3D DVE Warp to and press DVE
Menu > Warp.
Tip: At the top of the menu it states how many 3D DVE
Warp resources are available.
2. Press Magnify.
3. Press Position and use the X-Pos, Y-Pos, and
Size/Creation knobs to adjust the position and size
of the effect.
• Size/Creation — adjust the size of the effect.
If the size is set to zero the effect is turned off
but the 3D DVE Warp channel resources are still
being used.
• X-Pos — select the horizontal position of the
effect.
• Y-Pos — select the vertical position of the
effect.
4. Press Shape and use the Shape, Aspect Ratio,
and Magnification knobs to adjust the appearance
of effect.
