Manually trigger a GPI input on the
switcher. The switcher reacts as if a
trigger was received on the selected input
GPI. Simulate applies to both level and
pulse GPIs.
1. Press GPO.
2. Use the GPO Function knob to
select GPO Simulate.
3. Use the GPI Input knob to select the
GPI input you want to apply the
function to.
GPO Simulate
Toggles the GPI output signal to the
opposite level. If the level GPI is currently
set to high (5V), toggle sets the GPI to low
(0V). Toggle always sets the level to the
opposite of what it currently is, regardless
of the trigger level. Toggle GPI does not
apply to pulse GPIs.
1. Press GPO.
2. Use the GPO Function knob to
select GPO Toggle.
3. Use the GPI Output knob to select
the GPI output you want to apply the
function to.
GPO Toggle
Sets the GPI output to the trigger level.
For a level high GPI (5V) trigger sets the
GPI to high (5V), even if the GPI is already
triggered and at high (5V). Trigger applies
to both level and pulse GPIs.
1. Press GPO.
2. Use the GPO Function knob to
select GPO Trigger.
3. Use the GPI Output knob to select
the GPI output you want to apply the
function to.

Press Insert Event > More > More > LiveEDL.

The switcher starts recording events to
the EDL files. The currently selected
timecode source and file names are used.

The switcher stops recording events to
the EDL files.

Memories
Press Insert Event > Special.

Recall a specific memory on one or more
MEs.
1. Press the ME X for the MEs that you
want the memory to be recalled on.
2. Use the Memory knob to select the
memory you want to recall.

Menus
Press Insert Event > Special.

Navigate to a particular menu. This allows
you to quickly jump between frequently
used menus without having to navigate
through the menu system.

Monitor Wall
Press Insert Event > More > Monitor Wall.

Assign a specific input channel to a
particular box on the Monitor Wall. Each
box in a layout requires an input channel
for the video it displays.
Assign Chan
Load a specific layout on a monitor wall.
A monitor wall can have several different
layouts created, each with a variety of
monitors and inputs.
Load Layout
Assign specific, pre-defined, Dynamic text
to a particular text address on a monitor
wall layout. The text address will have to
be assigned to a template for a custom
control event to be able to change the text.
There are two types of text labels used on
a monitor wall.
• Static Text — set during the creation
of the monitor wall setup and can only
be modified using the tools provided
with the monitor wall.
• Dynamic Text — modified at any time
from the switcher.
