FCC Compliance
The SEL-734 optional internal modem complies with Part 68 of the FCC
Rules and Regulations. The SEL-734 has a label which contains the FCC
Registration Number and Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) of the modem.
You must, upon request, provide this information to your telephone company.
The REN is useful to determine the quantity of devices you may connect to a
telephone line and still have all of these devices ring when the number is
called. In most areas, the sum of the RENs of all devices connected to one line

S8 = n Pause Time for Dial Delay. By default n = 2.
S9 = n Carrier Detect Response Time. By default n = 6.
S10 = n Lost Carrier to Hang Up Delay. By default n = 14.
S11 = n DTMF Tone Duration. By default n = 95.
S30 = n Disconnect Inactivity Timer. By default n = 0.
