10.1.3.2 OpenStage Key Module 40, 60, 80
The “OpenStage Key Module” can be connected to the telephones OpenStage 40, OpenStage
60, and OpenStage 80. Up to two key modules can be connected.

The OpenStage Key Module is an add-on device that should be mounted on the side of the
telephone; it provides an additional 12 programmable function keys. In connection with the in-
tegrated level function, it is possible to use a total of 22 numbers of any key functions. Keys are
labeled automatically on the display.
10.1.3.3 OpenStage BLF
The OpenStage BLF can be connected to OpenStage 30 and OpenStage 40 telephones. One
OpenStage BLF can be connected. It cannot be combined with the OpenStage Key Module.

The OpenStage BLF (busy lamp field) is an add-on device that should be mounted on the side
of the telephone; it provides an additional 90 programmable function keys.
An external power supply unit is required to ensure sufficient power is supplied to operate the
BLF. Only use the original power supply unit for this, see Section 10.1.5.1, “External Power
Supply”. The port of the power supply unit depends on the hardware output of the OpenStage
BLF.
