Introduction
TMDID2 (Trunk Module Direct Inward Dialing) provides direct inward dialing from the central
office (CO) to HiPath 3800 V6.0 SMR-10 or later.
The board has eight trunk circuits that connect to analog trunks. The board supports the proto-
cols Wink Start, Delay Dial, and Immediate Start.

Danger of damage to property due to surge voltage. The required lightning protec-
tion measures must be taken for this board, see Section 2.1.2, “Lightning Protec-
tion”.
