WARNING
Risk of death due to hazardous voltage when an unsuitable power supply is connected
When live parts are touched, you can suffer death or serious injury under fault conditions.
Only use power supplies that provide SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) or PELV
(Protective Extra Low Voltage) output voltages for all connections and terminals of the
electronics modules.
WARNING
Risk of death from touching live parts on damaged devices
Improper handling of devices can damage them.
If devices are damaged, hazardous voltages may occur on the enclosure or at exposed
components.
Ensure compliance with the limit values specified in the technical specifications during
transport, storage, and operation.
Do not use any damaged devices.
WARNING
Risk of death from electric shock due to unconnected cable shields
Hazardous touch voltages can occur as a result of capacitive cross-coupling due to
unconnected cable shields.
Connect cable shields and unused cores of power cables (e.g. brake cores) to the
grounded housing potential at least at one end.
WARNING
Risk of death from electric shock when a device is not grounded
When there is no protective conductor connection of devices with protection class I or it is
incorrectly implemented, high voltages may occur at open, exposed parts, which when
touched, can result in death or serious injury.
Ground the device in compliance with the applicable regulations.
WARNING
Risk of death from electric shock when plug-in connections are disconnected during
operation
When plug-in connections are disconnected during operation, arcs can result in serious
injury or death.
Only open plug-in connections when the equipment is current-free, unless it has been
explicitly stated that they can be disconnected during operation.
