Averaging
Process of averaging of the reverberation time results
from several measurements during RT60 calculations.
Chapter
12.2
Appendix E
Smoothing
Process of smoothing of the raw reverberation time
results. This is used for better visualization of the RT60
results. The value of this parameter means number of
samples taken into consideration by the smoothing
algorithm. The higher is this number the smoother is a
graph.
Chapter
12.2
Appendix E
Noise Mar.
Margin value to the calculated noise level for RT60
calculations: 0 ÷ 20 dB.
Chapter
12.2
Appendix E
Logger Name
Name of the Logger file in which data of the RT60
analysis will be recorded.
Chapter
12.2
Level
Threshold level of the sound source for triggering the
RT60 measurement. If the measured sound is below the
Level value, the RT60 measurement will not start.

Alarms
Instrument's function, enabling alarm setting, generation
and alerting. The alarm setting can be done through the
SvanPC++ software. If Alarms were defined the they can
be seen in the instrument's screens. Some terms, used
in the SvanPC++ software, are presented below:
Chapter
5.12
Alarm Conditions
List of alarm conditions. Alarm condition can be a
Threshold or Time type.
Chapter
5.12
Threshold
Alarm condition type. Alarm is generated if the selected
result (Leq, Lpeak, Lmax, Lmin or sliding Leq for screens
of 15 or 60 minutes) exceeds the threshold level.
Chapter
5.12
Time
Alarm condition type. Alarm is generated in the selected
days of the week and during the defined time period.
