4. Inspection before starting work
Before starting work, execute inspection (including cleaning, lubrication) of each part.
Place Checking
Covers Covers might be attached incorrectly.
Upper thread
The thread might be passed incorrectly to each part.
The tension might be inadequate.
The thread might be entwined around frame/drive system.
Under thread
The under thread (bobbin case) might not be set to rotary hook
correctly.
The tension might be inadequate.
Needle
The needle might be bent.
The direction of needle might have been wrong.
The needle might be broken.

Cleaning/lubrication might be performed in inadequate
frequency.
Tension base switch(→p.66)
The switch of head to use might not be turned ON.
The switch of unused head might not be turned OFF.
