Rod Cover
1. Remove the O-ring (34) from the outer diameter
of the rod cover, then remove the backup ring
(35).
2. Remove the rod packing.
a. Remove the stopper (37).
b. Remove the spacer (38).
c. Remove the cushion seal (39).
d. Remove the rod packing (40).
e. Remove the backup ring (41).
3. Remove the dust seal (42).
• Tap alternately on several points around the
circumference on the inside of the metal ring,
pushing it out a little at a time to remove it.
