SPECIFICATIONSSTANDARDS FOR JUDGING PERFORMANCE
Lever Operating Force
• With the engine stopped, attach a push-pull scale
to the center of the operation lever·s handle grip,
or in the case of a pedal, position a push-pull scale
to its tip and record the measurement at the point
the lever/pedal reaches full stroke.
Lever Play
• Measure any discernible play at the tip of the le-
ver (pedal).
Track Tension
• In a stable, level location, lower the lift arm, tilt
the bucket forward, and lift the front of the tracks
slightly off the ground. Measure the distance be-
tween the bottom surface of the frame at the cen-
ter track roller and the top surface of the track.
Level of Front Edge of Bucket
• Measurement Posture: The bucket should be in
a level position and the front edge of the bucket
should be fixed so that it is approximately 20 cen-
timeters above the ground.
• Measure the difference “C” between the height of
the left and right front edges of the bucket from
the ground.
