TROUBLESHOOTINGBUCKET
1. Is the speed of the bucket cylinders within
the specified range?

2. Inspect the pilot valve.

3. Inspect movement of the spool.

4. Perform replacement test for the port relief
valves.

5. Inspect for leaks within the bucket cylin-
ders.
a. Bring the bucket into a level position down
into contact with the ground.
b. Check the left and right bucket cylinders
individually. Disconnect the hose from the
cylinder not being checked and insert a plug
in place of the removed hose.
c. Disconnect two hoses from the cylinder to be
checked and insert plugs into the hoses and
cylinder piping.
d. Raise the lift arms and bring the bucket up
above the surface of the ground. If the front
edge of the bucket falls downward the cylin
-
der may be assumed to be at fault. If it does
not fall downward you may assume that there
is a leak within either the control valve or the
self-level valve.
