Removing the power unit
1. Disconnect the start-in-gear protection
cable. (M and W model)
Disconnect the battery cables 1. (E and
W model)
2. Disconnect the PTT motor leads 2. (PTT
model)
Disconnect the PTT switch coupler 3
and trim sensor coupler 4. (R model
with PTT)
3. Disconnect the engine shut-off switch
leads 5 and warning indicator assembly
coupler 6. (M model)
Disconnect the warning indicator assem-
bly coupler 6 and 10-pin main harness
7 from the power unit. (E and W model)

É E and W model
4. Disconnect the flushing hose 8, cooling
water hose 9, and fuel hose 0.
5. Disconnect the throttle cable and shift
cable.
6. Remove the clip A, and then disconnect
the shift link rod B.
