13. Install the PTT motor to the PTT gear
pump housing.
NOTE:
To install the PTT motor, see Assembling
the PTT motor (7-37).
Bleeding the PTT unit
NOTE:
Make sure that the tilt ram is fully extended.
1. Place the PTT unit in an upright position.
2. Turn the manual valve 1 counterclock-
wise to close it.
3. Remove the reservoir cap 2, and then
check the fluid level in the reservoir.
NOTE:
If the fluid is at the correct level, a small
amount of fluid should overflow out of the
filler hole.
If fluid is below the correct level, add the
recommended PTT fluid.
4. Install the reservoir cap 2, and then
tighten it to the specified torque.
