1. Check the brush holder assembly for
continuity. Replace if out of specification.
2. Measure the length of each brush.
Replace if below specification.
Assembling the starter motor
CAUTION:
Do not allow grease or oil to contact the
commutator of the armature.
Starter motor commutator undercut
wear limit a: 0.8 mm (0.03 in)
