16. Voice Mail Local Storage
16.1 Architecture
The main server for the voice application is the Masc and the voice application.
The GVP is used by the Voice application to play the VM message and record the the voice mail message
The GVP is used as well to send the notify for the MWI to the set and MyIC (desktop and phone)
IMS is a Abstraction of the access to different VMS type: IM 4635and 4645, UM (exchange, domino, other),
LS.
Panda is responsible of the VM notification to the client thru the insterface server Scorpio (SMTP), squirrel
(Call log) chameleon (notification)
16.2 Logs setting
To setup logs accoding to voice mail :
The main component to trace : tomcat, Chameleon, Masc, IMS, Panda, voice application, Mule, GVP
For Oxe users, trace as well PRS, sipmotor, sipserver
For notification, trace as well Scorpio
For plugin (Outlook or Lotus domino), trace as well Lama, connector2007
To set the trace use the command : loglevel.sh
For the Voices application use : https://OT_FQDN/VoiceApplications/Log4jAdmin and set com.alcatel to
DEBUG
16.3 Use cases
16.3.1 MULE No register on OXE of local storage Registration Too Brief
Symptom: No access to LS_voice_mail from OXE phoneset No LS_voice_mail number when running
"sipregister" on OXE
Diagnostic: MULE register refused by OXE with a Registration Too Brief error
