19.1.3 How to install an Intermediate Certificate authority(ies) into the opentouch
Symptom : Is it possible to install a Intermediate Certificate authority(ies) into the opentouch
to resolve the certificate chain till the Root certificate authority ?
More details on certificate trusted chain : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermediate_certificate_authorities
Solution : In case of a custom certificate (not autosigned) used on open Touch, the CA of the certificate (or
the chain of CA) must be imported to the OpenTouch to build customized CTL for My IC Phone 8082 use.
These uploaded Certificate authorities has never used to be pushed to any Laptop/PC using My IC/Web
Brower connecting to OpenTouch. (Even if these kind of CA deployment is supported by Apache component,
OpenTouch does not support it).
As Web Server, OpenTouch server allowed use of Intermediate Certificates. Then, it is necessary to import
root CA and intermediate CA on end user PC to avoid pop-up on laptop/PC.
