13. ACS
13.1 ACS : Software overview
13.1.1 Myteamwork Services/Servers
You may access to a menu that will help you to restart servers/services of the Myteamwork server.
Under Configuration / Advanced Settings / Restart Servers
Muxer : main component of Myteamwork attached on port 80 and 443 then forward http request to apache /
tomcat on port 8888 chameleon/8081-8082 ACS/8083 chameleon?
THS : (ths) This service handles the SIP Server (Proxy/Registrar) and is a core service as all
communications are based on this protocol.
TNS / TP DRIVER : (tnsd / tnsdvr) This service corresponds to the Call Server in charge of Audio call
handling
DESKTOP MCU : (desktopmcud) is used to manage the desktop or application sharing (data sharing).
SNMP : (snmpd) To handle alerts (traps) toward a Monitoring device or answer to information queries from a
network monitoring device.
UPG : (upgd) This service is related to WEB server
MOBILE GATEWAY : (mgwd) to handle the connection of Windows Mobile 5/6 Pocket PC
MS LCS GATEWAY : In charge of handling the SIP CS protocol with a Microsoft LCS2005 server in order to
provide integration into the MOC2005 client.
DOCUMENT CONVERSION SERVER : (vmware) related to Virtual Machine Windows XP/7 with Office Pack
running into a VMWare environment and used to convert excel/word document or powerpoint slides into
pictures that can be then presented during a conference.
Some other services are not available in the restart server web page as they are directly controlled by other
service or when applying changes in admin pages.
ntpd : Network Time management
iptables : Management of trusted hosts for different accesses/ports
sshd : is openssh daemon to provide secured remote console access.
sendmail : used to send Email alerts to the mail addresses managed into system options.
broadcastd : to handle the AMDS call blast/brodcast
buddyconsoled : That manage log-in/out of users and the contact list display and the conversation windows.

Muxer forwards the http request to Chameleon for ICS services
