22.3.29 MyIC Phone add a 0 when using call by name
Symptom : Search a user, and select it to dial. The internal called number getan additional 0
Diagnosis : in config.mac@.xml there is no "DialingRuleMinNumberLength"
describe and by default that is set at 6. Check in the config.mac@.xml the value
<setting id="DialingRuleMinNumberLength" value="X" override="true"/>
Solution : Check in 8770 the dialing rules. 8770/configuration/OpenTouch/System
Services/Applications/Telephony/Dialing Rule/the phone set dialing rule described in User/General/Dialing
rules
22.3.30 Optional.xml parameter is not taken into account
Symptom : we modify a parameter in optional.xml. That is not taken into account after MyIC phone restart
Solution : verify that this parameter is not already set by config.xml
22.3.31 MyIC Phone ICS icone is red
Symptom : MyIC Phone ICS icone is red
Diagnosis : The login has not been done
Solution : On MyIC Phone select the user name left top corner / User Info / Connection then entre the GUI
password.

Symptom : MyIC Phone ICS icone is red and password does not work
Diagnosis : The password is locked
Solution : The password is blocked : 8770 / Configuration / OpenTouch / system services / security /
userpassword / <user> / passwords then “GUI password reset history
22.3.33 MyIC Phone Voice Mail password is locked
Symptom : MyIC Phone Voice mail password does not work
Diagnosis : The password is locked
Solution : The password is blocked : 8770 / Configuration / Open Touch / system services / security /
userpassword / <user> / passwords then “TUI password reset history
22.3.34 How to access to particular keyboard character
Symptom : How to access to particular keyboard character
Diagnosis : The particular keyboard character are not on first level of keyboard
Solution : on some version on the left of the keyboard you get “►” press it and select a letter or a character to
access to the special character. On newer version on the left of the keyboard you get “Alt” press it and select
a letter or a character to access to the special character.
22.3.35 No way to make receive call on MyIC Phone
Symptom : No way to make receive call on MyIC Phone
Diagnosis : Check the sdp used to confirm that the codec are compatible
Solution : Align the codec used in the device configuration
