6.1 System error messages
Error code Causes Remedy
01 USB Communication Failure R Visually, check if the USB communication cable is dam-
aged.
R Contact customer service.
02 R The <Emergency> key is pressed.
R Emergency cable damaged.
R Unlock both Emergency stop buttons.
Error code 02 is displayed continuously for 30 seconds
till the EPS 625 can be started again.
03 R The test oil level is less than the predefined value.
R Oil level sensor cable damaged.
R Check the quantity of oil available in the tank. At least
30 lts of test oil should be available in the tank.
R Contact customer service.
04 Tank temperature exceeds 70 °C. R Check if the tank temperature sensor connection is
loose.
R Check the water temperature. It should be in the range
of 17
o
C to 20
o
C.
R Contact customer service.
05 Drive Communication Failure Contact customer service.
06 There is no feedback on the drive health status. Contact customer service.
07 Tank temperature sensor is disconnected. R Check if the tank temperature sensor is disconnected.
R Visually, check if the tank temperature sensor cable is
damaged.
R Contact customer service.
08 Tank temperature sensor S5 is shorted Contact customer service.
09 R Test oil motor thermal overload relay tripped.
R Test oil motor is jammed.
Contact customer service.
10 Inlet temperature sensor S6 is shorted. Contact customer service.
11 Inlet temperature sensor S6 is disconnected Contact customer service.
12 Test Oil Motor Contactor Faulty Contact customer service.
13 Outlet temperature sensor S7 is disconnected. Contact customer service.
14 The input values for speed/stroke/temperature are be-
yond the defined minimum and maximum values
Check the manual for getting the information regarding
allowed data setting range for all the parameters such as
RPM, stroke and temperature.
15 R Power supply to heater has failed
R MCB F2 has tripped
R Heater has failed
R Heater cable damaged
R Check power supply to heater.
R Switch on the MCB F2.
R Switch off and switch on EPS 625.
R Contact customer service.
16 Outlet temperature sensor S7 is short circuited. Contact customer service.
17 If inlet temperature output exceeds 70 °C. R Check if the water temperature is as specified in chap-
ter 9.
R Contact customer service.
18 If outlet temperature output exceeds 70°C R If a VE pump is being calibrated, check if the flushing
valve is actuated.
R Contact customer service.
19 R Speed of motor greater than 50 RPM.
R Also, stability is not within +/- 5 RPM of set value for
stroke actuation.
R Wait till the speed reaches the defined limit. Then, fur-
ther testing can be started.
R Contact customer service.
20 CRC interface error Restart the EPS 625.
21 System safe status active Ignore the status message and repeat the test.
22 Critical number of messages reached Restart the EPS 625.
