boot private-config-file
boot private-config-file
Use the boot private-config-file global configuration command on a standalone switch to specify the
filename that Cisco IOS uses to read and write a nonvolatile copy of the private configuration. Use the
no form of this command to return to the default setting.
boot private-config-file filename
no boot private-config-file
Syntax Description
Defaults The default configuration file is private-config.

Usage Guidelines This command works properly only from a standalone switch.
Filenames are case sensitive.
Examples This example shows how to specify the name of the private configuration file to be pconfig:
Switch(config)# boot private-config-file pconfig
