Respiration Rate accuracy was verified by using a solenoid test setup to deliver a square
wave of known CO

concentration to the device. 5% and 10% CO

concentrations were
used. Respiration rate was varied over the range of the device. Pass/Fail criteria was
comparison of the respiratory rate output from the sensor to the frequency of the square
wave.
