Platform-Dependent Conventions
Unless otherwise noted, all information applies to all platforms supported by ExtremeWare XOS
software, which are the following:
● BlackDiamond
®
10800 family of switches
● BlackDiamond 8810 switch (formerly known as Aspen)
● Summit
®
X450 switch
● BlackDiamond 8806 switch
When a feature or feature implementation applies to specific platforms, the specific platform is noted in
the heading for the section describing that implementation.
Finally, minor differences in platform implementations are called in a note, as shown below:
