General Safety Summary
This instrument has been designed and tested
in
accordance with the British and European standard publication
EN6101O: 1993/A2: 1995, and has been supplied in a safe condition.
This manual contains information and wamings that must be observed to keep the instrument in a safe condition and
ensure safe operation. Operation or service in conditions, or in a manner other than specitied could compromise safety.
For the correct and safe use
of
this instrument
it
is essential that both operating and service personnel
fol1ow
generally
accepted safety procedures in addition to the safety precautions specitied.
To avoid injury or tire hazard the instrument should not
he
switched on
ifit
is damaged or suspected faulty, and it should
not
be
used under damp, wet, condensing, dusty
or
explosive gas conditions.
Whenever it is likely that safety-protection has been impaired, the instrumentmust

made inoperative and he secured
