Passcode Setting for Extended Functions
A passcode is required to use the extended functions on the machine.
Available Extended Functions and Passcode
Important • It takes a few minutes longer to warm-up the machine after you set the passcode to enable the
extended functions.
Following are instructions for enabling the extended functions.
1 Press the <Log In/Out> button on the control panel.
2 Enter the System Administrator’s user ID with
the numeric keypad or the keyboard displayed
on the screen, and select [Enter].
Note • When a passcode is required, select [Next]
and enter the System Administrator’s
passcode.
3 Select [Tools] on the Services Home screen.
Note • The screen may differ depending on the
model.
4 Select [Maintenance] in [Common Service
Settings] under [System Settings].
5 Select [Software Options].

* : This function has same features as those of conventional optional
products "Extensible Customization Function".
