Remove the two screws (see circles).
▶
Get the SAS expander board out of the two connectors of the HDD
backplane and remove it.
CAUTION
▶
Lift up the SAS expander board while removing it in order to
prevent the components to be damaged by the stand-offs (see A
in
Figure 98) of the chassis.

Pull the HDD backplane upward until the six hooks (see circles) disengage.
▶
T
ake out the HDD backplane.

Position the HDD backplane on the six hooks (see circles).
▶
Push the HDD backplane downward. Make sure that the HDD backplane fits
behind the guide pins (A).
CAUTION
▶
Ensure that none of the cables are strained or damaged!
