7-9-6-4 PIR Overall Test
This diagnostic test performs the self-diagnosis of each electric component and interface in PIR board.
Table 7-5 below outlines Voluson® P8 / Voluson® P6 Diagnostics Tool described in the sub-sections.
7-9-6-4-1 Voltage Test
It verifies Each Power Voltage Levels on PIR board, and displays the current voltage levels and the test
result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-9-6-4-2 FPGA(PIR) Configuration Test
It verifies FPGA configuration on PIR board by reading/writing test data, and displays the test result as
PASSED/FAILED.
7-9-6-4-3 IIC(PIR) Interface Test
It verifies I2C path named I2C_PIR by using EERPOM on PIR board, and displays the test result as
PASSED/FAILED.
7-9-6-4-4 VPD(PIR) Test
It verifies VPD Information embedded in EEPROM on PIR board, and displays the part of VPD
information and the test result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-9-6-5 CPS Overall Test
This diagnostic test performs the self-diagnosis of each electric component and interface in CPS board.
