)
the pitch.
The display example below shows a Transpose value of 1:
Play on the keyboard and you’ll hear that the pitch of the instrument is in-
stantly raised (#) or lowered (

Transposing a section in octave steps
In Style or Preset mode, the OCTAVE –/+ panel buttons allow real time octave
shifting of the current section up to a maximum setting of 2 octaves above or
below standard pitch. The transposition affects the current section only and not
the instrument as a whole.
In our example, the right display arrow is shown pointing to the Upper 1 section
and the Upper 1 LED is on, meaning that the section is selected for an octave
change.
1. Press either OCTAVE + or OCTAVE – to raise (+) or lower (–) the octave
setting.
Play on the keyboard and you’ll hear that the pitch of the current section is
instantly raised (+) or lowered (–) by one octave. At the same time the
display will show the new Octave value for a short period, then return to the
previous situation.

Every time you press the OCTAVE – button the display shows a decrease of

Every time you press OCTAVE + button the display shows an increase of
one octave (up to + 24 semitones).
