Song Styles 2•41
Clear Song Style
If the Song Style is not to your satisfaction, it is possible to intervene by cancel-
ling some parameters by means of the CLEAR function. The CLEAR function
is carried out in RECORD mode.
1. With the Song Style selected, hold down the RECORD button for a few
seconds to gain access to the CLEAR function.
The first Clear option (All) is shown in the display:
2. Use the PAGE buttons to select the Clear option required.
ALL: Clears (initializes) all the recorded events of the SONG
STYLE except the last programmed Preset. In practice,
only the recorded sequences are cancelled from the last
recorded Song Style.
CHORD: When the CHORD track is empty, the name “CHORD”
starts to flash to indicate that it is ready to record chord
events. The Chord track can only be recorded once; if
you want to record the chord track again (to cancel wrong
events), you must clear the entire track with Clear CHORD.
LOWER: Cancels the Lower track.
UPPER 2: Cancels the Upper 2.
UPPER 1: Cancels the Upper 1.
TEMPO: Cancels all Tempo events captured in the Tempo track.
COMMON: The Common track records all events generated by the
panel interventions effected during the recording (changes
of Var, Fill, etc.). Clear Common cancels all these type of
events from the recording.
3. Once you have selected the event type press ENTER.
A confirmation request appears (Sure?).
(Press ESCAPE to abort the operation).
4. Press ENTER again to confirm the Clear operation.
Your recorded Song Styles remain intact in memory even after power down.
To avoid unwanted cancellation, it is better to save your Song Styles to disk,
using the Save All command, for future use.
