3.10 Data Interface
The TNC features three interfaces:
n RS-232-C/V.24
n RS-422/V.11
n Ethernet connection
The interfaces can be used simultaneously. The user selects the interfaces he
wishes to use. (See “Data Interfaces” on page 8 – 3).
3.10.1 RS-232-C/V.24 Data Interface
Please note:
n Maximum cable length 20 m.
n To connect a peripheral device you must install an adapter cable either in the
electrical cabinet or on the operating panel. See also “Dimensions” at the
end of this chapter.
n For connecting cables, see “Cable Overview” at the end of this chapter.
