Testing of the grounded lead should be avoided, unless absolutely necessary.
If a part such as the lead must be tested, be sure to connect the low-side
crocodile clip (black) to the grounded end of the lead. Connecting the
highside crocodile clip (red) to the grounded end of the lead may result in
electric shock or damage to the equipment.
