3.3.4 Setting the Output Voltage range
CAUTION
The output-voltage nearly doubles when the output-voltage range is changed
from 2.5 kV to 5.0 kV. To avoid damaging the unit, after changing the range,
make sure that you adjust the output-voltage using the voltage adjustment
knob.
Output volttage range:
5.0 kV
Set the output voltage range in withstand voltage mode. The output voltage
range indicates the maximum output voltage range that can be set using the
voltage adjustment knob.
1.
If no flashing cursor is displayed in the withstand voltage mode READY
state, press either the / key to display the cursor in the output voltage
range position.
2. Change the voltage range using the
/ keys. The voltage range can be
set to 2.5 kV or 5.0 kV.
3. To finalize the test settings, press the
STOP key.
