Step Action Result

Connect the replacement fieldbus device
to the Link.
Wait for the replacement device to
appear as an Uncommissioned Device
(UCD) listed in the top half of the Device
Replacement dialog.

Click the checkbox to the left of the Tag
column for the Replacement Device.
The "Replace the Failed Device with the
Uncommissioned Replacement Device"
button becomes active.

Click the "Replace the Failed Device with
Uncommissioned Replacement Device"
button.
Warning prompt asks if you want to
continue.
