How to Perform Measurement
Resistance Measurement
If the Auto V Control mode is used, set the resistance range. Use the RANGE
function key and the navigation keys to set the range you desire. See “Measure
Ohms” on page 110 for more information.
Step 5. Use the SPEED function key and the navigation keys to set the measurement
speed (aperture time) you desire. See Aperture Time” on page 111 for more
information.
Step 6. Press the Filter key to open the Measure Filter dialog box. And set the
measurement filter on the dialog box. See “Filter” on page 112 for more
information.
Step 7. Connect resistor (DUT) to measure. See Figures 3-11 to 3-15 for the connection.
Step 8. Press the Ammeter On/Off switch to enable Ammeter. This turns the switch
green.
Step 9. Press the Voltage Source On/Off switch to enable the voltage output. This turns
the switch green. And the voltage source starts output.
Step 10. Start measurement as follows.
Press the Single key to start a single (one shot) measurement. Resistance
measurement is performed once.
Press the Run/Stop key to start a repeat (continuous) measurement.
Resistance measurement is performed repeatedly. Minimum measurement
interval is 10 ms.
Step 11. Press the Voltage Source On/Off switch to disable the voltage output. This
turns off the switch light.
Step 12. Press the Ammeter On/Off switch to disable Ammeter. This turns off the switch
light.

To perform the measurement with the square wave voltage output, see “Square
