Engine Emergency Stop Switch (right side of the machine)
(If equipped)
Actuate the engine emergency stop switch to stop the engine in emergencies. In addition, always actuate
the engine emergency stop switch before carrying out operations under the machine or around the under-
carriage. This will prevent anyone from carrying out starting operations by mistake from the operator's
seat.
The switch (29) is used to stop the engine in emergencies.
q When carrying out an emergency stop of the engine
If engine emergency stop indicator lamp (L) is off, pull
down rope (R). Indicator lamp (L) will light up green and the
engine will make an emergency stop.
q Cancelling engine emergency stop
When indicator lamp (L) is lighted up, pull down rope (R)
again. When this happens, indicator lamp (L) goes out and
the emergency stop is cancelled.
It is possible to judge the status (ON/OFF) of the engine emer-
gency stop switch by checking the condition of indicator lamp
(L).
Lighted up: Engine emergency stop switch is at ON (emer-
gency stop) position
Light off: Engine emergency stop switch is at OFF (normal
operation) position
Ladder raising switch
This switch (30) is used when raising the ladder.
