CHECK GREASE LEVEL IN SWING PINION, ADD GREASE 4
q Prepare a scale.
1. Remove 4 bolts (1) on the inside of the track frame, then
remove cover (2).
2. Insert a scale into the grease and check that the height of
the grease is approx. 40 mm.
If the level is low, add grease.
3. If there is water in the grease and the grease is extremely
milky white, remove bolt (3) under the track frame, remove
cover (4), then remove the inside cover. Drain the grease
and replace it completely with new grease.
Total grease capacity: 80 liter, 72 kg
CHECK ALTERNATOR, STARTING MOTOR 4
There is the possibility that the brush has worn out, or the bearing has run short of grease, so call on your Komatsu
distributor for an inspection or repairs.
CHECK ENGINE VALVE CLEARANCE, ADJUST 4
Special tools are needed for inspection and maintenance, so contact your Komatsu distributor.
