CHECK FOR MISSING FUEL SPRAY PREVENTION CAP, HARDENING OF RUBBER 4

Fuel spray prevention caps (1) - (18) and fuel spray prevention cover (17) are protection parts installed to prevent

fire if any fuel leaks and sprays into contact with high-temperature parts of the engine. Check visually and touch

by hand to check that there are no missing caps, no loose mounting bolts, and no hardening of any rubber parts. If

any problem is found, the part must be replaced. In this case, please ask your Komatsu distributor to carry out the

replacement.
