Working Mode
The mode selector switch can be used to switch the mode to match operating conditions and purpose, thereby
enabling work to be performed efficiently.
Make effective use of each mode as follows.
When the starting switch is turned to the ON position, the work-
ing mode is automatically set to P mode.
Use the working mode selector switch to set to the most effi-
cient working mode for the type of job.
Working mode Applicable work
P mode Large capacity digging and loading for short periods of time handling blasted rock
E mode
Light-duty work not requiring speed or digging power, such as leveling operations, grading
operations, haul operations (reduced fuel consumption mode)
