Moving Machine Forward 3
1. Set lock lever (4) in the FREE position (F), fold the work
equipment, and raise it 100 to 150 cm from the ground.
q If the work equipment blocks the view and it is difficult
to travel in safety, raise the work equipment to a
greater height.
2. Operate the right and left travel levers (5), or the right or left travel pedals (6) as follows:
q When sprocket (A) is situated at the rear of the machine;
Start the machine either by pushing lever (5) forward slowly
or by stepping on the front part of pedal (6) slowly.
q When sprocket is situated at the front of the machine;
Start the machine either by pulling lever (5) back slowly or
by stepping on the rear part of pedal (6) slowly.
3. Check that the travel alarm sounds properly. If the travel alarm does not sound, please contact your Komatsu
distributor for repair.
In cold temperatures, if the machine travel speed is not normal, thoroughly perform the warming-up operation.
In addition, if the undercarriage is clogged with mud and the machine travel speed is not normal, remove the soil
and mud from the undercarriage.
