HANDLING EMERGENCY LADDER 3
ESCAPE PROCEDURE 3
When getting on or off the machine, always face the machine and maintain at least three-point contact
(both feet and one hand, or both hands and one foot) with the handrail and steps to ensure that you sup-
port yourself.
In particular, the rope ladder will tend to swing, and there is danger of falling off, so be particularly careful
to support yourself securely when climbing down.
To prepare for action in emergencies, read this escape procedure properly beforehand and practice using
the escape equipment installed to the machine.
