Operations Before Starting Engine 3
When starting the engine, check that the lock lever is securely at the LOCK position.
If the lock lever is not locked securely and the control levers or control pedal are touched when the engine
is started, the machine may move unexpectedly, and this may lead to serious personal injury.
1. Check that battery isolator switch (1) and starting motor
isolator switch (2) are at ON position (a).
2. Check that lock lever (3) is at the LOCK position (L).
3. Check that each control lever and control pedal is at the
Neutral position.
If the control levers and control pedal are not being
touched, they will be at the Neutral position.
