METHOD OF DRAINING, ADDING LUBRICANT AND COOLANT FROM
SERVICE PANEL 6
A force-feed pump and force-feed pump coupler are needed to carry out draining or adding lubricant and coolant
from each coupler of the service center.
q Couplers manufactured by WIGGINS are used for each coupler of the service center. When preparing a cou-
pler for the force-feed pump, use the equivalent of the WIGGINS part number in the chart below.
Komatsu does not handle force-feed pumps, but if a force-feed pump coupler is needed, please consult your
Komatsu distributor.
q Before connecting the service center coupler and force-feed pump coupler, wipe off all dirt, oil, or
other foreign material from each coupler to prevent dirt from getting inside the piping.
q When adding lubricant and coolant, always check that the amount is the specified amount.
