CHECK, REPLACE HYDRAULIC PUMP DRAIN FILTER CARTRIDGE 4
(3 places)
1. Using the filter wrench, turn the filter cartridge to the left
and remove it.
2. Fill the new filter cartridge with hydraulic oil, coat the pack-
ing surface with oil, then install it.
When installing it, bring the packing surface into contact
with the seal surface of the filter holder, then tighten a fur-
ther 1/2 - 3/4 turns.
When replacing the cartridge, check if there are any iron particles or foreign material stuck to the bottom
of the filter case or the outside of the cartridge. If such materials are stuck to the cartridge of filter case,
there is probably an abnormality in the hydraulic circuit.
Please ask your Komatsu distributor to carry out inspection and repair.
The drain filter cartridge consists of the following 2 cartridges.
(1): Hydraulic pump drain filter cartridges (3 places)
(2): Swing, travel motor drain filter cartridges (2 places)
