When transporting the machine, observe all related laws and regulations, and be careful to assure safety.
TRANSPORTATION PROCEDURE 3
Select the method of transportation to match the weight and dimensions given in “SPECIFICATIONS (5-2)“.
Note that the weight and dimensions given in SPECIFICATIONS may differ according to the type of shoe or arm,
or other attachments.
PRECAUTIONS FOR TRANSPORTATION 3
This machine must be disassembled for transportation. When transporting the machine, please consult
your Komatsu distributor.
METHOD OF LIFTING UNITS FOR TRANSPORTATION 3
q Never raise the machine with any worker on it.
q When carrying out lifting operations, use a wire that is of ample strength for the weight of the machine.
q When carrying out lifting operations, be careful of the center of gravity and take care to maintain the
balance.
TRANSPORTATION POSTURE 3
The machine can be divided into the following units for transportation: upper structure, operator's cab, crawler
frame, center frame, work equipment, and counterweight. When transporting the machine, please consult your
Komatsu distributor.
