Night Maintenance Switch
If this switch (34) is turned to ON position (a), step light (C) on
top of the cab and step light (D) at the side of the ladder both
light up.
(a) ON: Lamps light up
(b) OFF: Lamps go off
q Step lights (C) and (D) will remain lighted up until switch
(34) is turned manually to OFF position (b).
q Use this switch at night for maintenance work when it is
desired to keep the steps or the passage lighted up.
q It is possible to light up the step lights even when the start-
ing switch is OFF.
Do not keep the step lights lighted up for a long time when
the engine is stopped. This will drain the battery.
After using the step lights, always turn the switch to OFF
position (b) and check that the step lights go off.
