5.13 Heating and ventilation system maintenance
General instructions regarding the heating system
The heating system of the machine is equipped with a fine-dust filter. Clean the filter as
required, however replace it every 500 s/h at the latest.
Danger!
In order to be able to comply with the required safety measures regarding
occupational safety and health, defective or dirty fine-dust filters must be
replaced by new ones!
Cleaning the dust filter of the heating system
The dust filter is located behind the maintenance flap on the outside right of the cab.
Clean the filter as follows:
Remove knurled screw (2x)
Pull out the fine-dust filter and check it for damage
Knock the filter element on a plate on either side
Blow compressed air from the inside to the outside to clean the filter, or wash it with
water and dry it
Replace the fine-dust filter every 500 s/h (service hours)
Replace or clean the filter more frequently if the machine is used in severe dust
conditions
Clean the inside of the filter housing and insert the fine-dust filter (make sure it is
seated properly)
Mount knurled screw (2x)
